    Yes by extracting the Surface Container ( as per question 2 above ) 1. Open it with like Photoshop and change the color, then save as new name. 2. In ARCHICAD select the Surface which you like to swap the texure with 3. Click on color - on the right under Texture click on image 4. Click add button on top left and choose your new saved texture, done !

    Make sure you tick the blurriness option in the detail settings of CineRender.

    Just change this number shown below. The current settings gives a nice not too overpowering blur effect. Tip: if you like to change this setting and see the result. Select the floor and a couple of walls only - go to 3D view - move the camera a bit closer but not too close then test render. This way it won't take too long to see the new rendered image and you can easy adjust the seetings for the desired result.

    The bricks are set as Australian sizes as I am living here. Make sure you change both the CineRender and OpenGL size to match the 3D view with the render image. To change these textures to fit your needs and country sizes please see FAQ no 12 video.

  • 10. What size are the wooden texture deafult settings ?
    The wooden textures are set on an "avarage" size. There are so many sizes available that I could not set an exact default size. To measure what size they currently are please go into a 3D view / Perpective or more exact top view in Parralel Projections. Then hit m on the keyboard and you can click from one point to another to see the distance/lentgh/size.
